This Week's Slogan: "Dangers of driving without license"

 

 

In early this week, Qatar General Directorate of Traffic in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior held the a press conference to announce the fourth week's slogan of the "accident-free summer" campaign which is the dangers off driving without a license.

Capt. Khalid Mubarak Al Khulaifi, Head of Traffic at Shahaniyapointed out the dangers of driving without a license and the importance of spreading awareness of the punishments of the violations. Article 29 of the Traffic Law for the Year 2007 stipulates that no motor vehicle shall be driven on the road unless the driver has obtained a driving license from the Licensing Authority entitling the holder to drive such a vehicle.

 

Col. Muhammad Radhi Al Hajiri, director of Traffic Awareness And Information Dept, stressed the importance of obeying traffic laws, the importance of following traffic safety requirments, and having concerted efforts to promote traffic awareness initiatives.
