What to do if your car won’t start in cold weather?

 

1. The battery may be the problem. The battery may not work effectively if  you didn’t use the car for a while. In this case, you must close all car doors and turn off all electronic devices operated by the battery such as air conditioning, lights, radio and other things that consume the car battery. 3. When trying to operate the car, turn the switch and press on it for no more than 10 seconds, if the car does not work wait for at least two minutes and then try again.

 

4. If the car does not work after these attempts, the car may need a small push to help the battery to work and try to start the engine to activate the car battery.

 

5. When the battery is not responding, remove the battery cables from the car and place it in a warm place for at least two hours until the battery maintain its normal temperature.

4- Check the car oils since it is affected by the cold weather and thus affect the work of other car parts.

5. Be sure to fully fill the fuel tank so as not to freeze the fuel inside the fuel pump tubes.

6. You can use a fuel-free antifreeze or a special antifreeze for liquids in the car to maintain them and thus maintain engine efficiency.
