Waymo Reveals Behind the Scene Shots about its Robocars

 

The auto-driving or self-driving cars have swept the world of cars recently where many companies have competed in this field and are still competing to produce the best developed and modified versions of cars. But have you ever wondered how these cars work and how the car operate by itself?

The company offered rare shots behind the scenes for the self-driving taxi project in Arizona. These shots show what happens in the operations center when the vehicle fleet is not self-driving on the road.

Waymo explained that it has doubled its testing center for self-driving cars in Chandler, Arizona. The lenses picked up a wonderful fleet of self-driving cars there.

The photos has shown that the company consists of an integrated team whose job is to maintain the required level of safety. The team  includes: fleet technicians, a team to ensure the delivery of cars to the right destinations accurately and a wonderful team of technical support during the delivery of passengers in cars self-driving.

Advanced Garage

 

The company owns an awesome automated garage where technicians review, maintain and ensure the efficiency of self-driving sensors. Most self-driving cars use LIDAR technology to see the surrounding environment, while walking on streets and roads.

 

 

They also make sure that there is a sufficient number of self-driving vehicles on the roads to accommodate passenger requests. There is also a special section to ensure road safety and follow the conditions of changing routes that may affect traffic to guide autos to alternative routes.
