Tires are one of the most important parts of the car because it is the only part that touches the ground, so you have to be very careful about buying a new tire and it is preferred to abide by the specifications of the tire mentioned in the manual of your car.

• Tire codes of the intended use of the vehicle:

There are three types of tires indicating the use of the vehicle: P, LT & C. The P code indicates that this tire is suitable for passenger cars. The LT indicates that this tire is suitable for light trucks and the C means that the tire is suitable for large, heavy trucks that are often commercial.

 

• Friction's code:

Friction is an indicator of the ability of the frame to withstand the driving on different types of sidewalks especially wet. Three symbols are used: C, B, A, AA. The maximum friction rate is symbolized by the symbol AA and C is the lowest friction rate, which is not much recommended.

 

• Temperature resistance codes:

Temperature resistance means the ability to get rid of the heat due to driving for distances or on different surfaces at high speeds. It is symbolized by the following three letters: A, B or C.

 

• Maximum speed codes:

Tires have symbols that indicate the maximum speed because driving at higher speeds may blowout the tire.

K: The maximum speed is 110 km / h

L: The maximum speed is 120 km / h

M: The maximum speed is130 km / h

N: The maximum speed is 140 km / h

P: The maximum speed is 150 km / h

Q: The maximum speed is 160 km / h

R: The maximum speed is 170 km / h

S: The maximum speed is 180 km / h

T: The maximum speed is 190 km / h

U: The maximum speed is 200 km / h

V: The maximum speed is 240 km / h

Z: The maximum speed is 240 km / h

W: The maximum speed is 270  km / h

Y: The maximum speed is 300 km / h
