Most of us, or all of us have stopped for some time to read some of the sentences and writings on cars. Writing on cars is an old phenomenon used by drivers to express their ideas or to spread some jokes and sarcasms of life.

But you can observe that the phenomenon has returned with the use of more modern sentences that carry either wisdom such as "Do not hurry, Papa, we are waiting for you" or criticism of the life living. Some other writings are written just to make fun of something.

You may notice some writings that are simple but carry many meanings that may not be understood by anyone but the persons who have written them.

Do people write in modern cars?

Writings on modern car is very rare since the owner of a modern luxury car does not write on his car any phrase because he feels that the car itself is striking and he is not ready to sabotage part of it because it costs him a lot of money.

Is writing on cars illegal?

There are some countries that prohibit writings cars and consider them illegal, but people see it as a way to alleviate the pressures of life and a mean of entertainment. They can express opinions and ideas, especially on occasions such as national events and sports.

In the legal sense, writing on rear and front mirrors of cars obscures the vision and thus increase the risk of having traffic accidents.

Youths use this way more than others and sometimes they use inappropriate writings.

Is it just an Arabic phenomenon?

Certainly not, the phenomenon is also there in foreign countries. In addition, Arab youths use now some foreign sentences and they adapt to the Arabic culture.
