Qatar: a temporary closure on Olympic Intersection for 36 hour starts today

 

The public work authority “Ashghal”, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, has announced a temporary closure on the Olympic intersection, which is known as sport intersection, from its main 4 sides for 36 hour. The closure starts today 28 Mach until Saturday morning 31 March.

 

The traffic heading to the intersection from any of the 4 sides should turn right only to the next intersection.

 

This closure is to complete the final pavement layer at the Olympic intersection. It is considered as a part of the authority development works on intersections and roundabouts in many different areas of Doha. This in turn will enhance the flow of traffic and reduce congestion in vital areas.

 

The public work authority will put road signs to monitor traffic stressing on the need for drivers to abide by speed limits and to follow road signs instructions.
