Met department warns: a dust storm hits and affects the visibility of drivers

The Meteorology Department announced the weather in Qatar today and explained that the country is witnessing a dust storm that will lead to low visibility and there is a possibility of scattered rain in some parts of the country.

According to the Qatar Meteorology Department, weather conditions until 6 pm will be dusty and cloudy to partly cloudy with the possibility of scattered rain and thundery rain sometimes. The department issued a warning of strong winds expected in some areas as well as it warned drivers of weather conditions, which would affect the visibility to fall to less than 4 km, and called the drivers to be cautious while driving.

In this regard, the Department published some tips for citizens to adhere in dusty weather on their official account on Twitter, including: Drivers must be cautious during driving because of low vision, citizens, especially who suffer from diseases such as asthma,shouldn’t be exposed to dust, When you get out of the house, be careful to keep up with the weather.
