Qatar's Ministry of Interior has issued a summer safety advisory urging motorists to take precautions to reduce the risk of vehicle fires during periods of extreme heat.
According to the ministry, drivers should follow these key guidelines:
The ministry noted that high temperatures can increase the risks associated with lithium-ion batteries, pressurized containers, and flammable materials left inside vehicles.
