Chinese automaker Chery is expanding its connected car technology with the launch of the new CarLinko smartphone app for its CSH hybrid lineup. The application is designed to give drivers remote access to several vehicle functions while also improving convenience, monitoring, and energy management for plug-in hybrid owners.

The app is now rolling out for Chery Super Hybrid (CSH) models including the Tiggo 7, Tiggo 8, Tiggo 9, and Arrizo 8 PHEV. Instead of relying only on the car’s built-in systems, owners can now control important features directly from their smartphones, bringing Chery closer to the connected mobility experience already becoming common in premium vehicles.

At the center of the system is Chery’s T-Box technology, which links the vehicle to the mobile app in real time. Through CarLinko, users can remotely lock or unlock the vehicle, open or close windows, operate the sunroof, and even start or stop the engine from a distance. One of the most practical features for hot-weather markets is remote climate control, allowing drivers to cool the cabin before entering the vehicle.

The app also provides live vehicle monitoring. Drivers can check battery charge, fuel level, tire pressure, temperature, driving range, and overall vehicle condition directly from their phones. Chery says the system is intended to make hybrid ownership easier and more transparent, especially for drivers adapting to electrified vehicles for the first time.

CarLinko includes several everyday convenience tools as well. Owners can locate their vehicle in crowded parking areas using the car finder feature, schedule charging sessions, and receive charging reminders. Multiple vehicles can also be linked to a single account, which makes the app more useful for families with more than one Chery hybrid model.

The launch also highlights Chery’s wider push into hybrid technology through its CSH platform. The company’s latest Super Hybrid system combines a turbocharged petrol engine with electric motors and hybrid transmissions designed for strong efficiency and long driving range. Some CSH models can reportedly travel up to 1,200 km on a full tank and full charge depending on the model and driving conditions.

With connected features becoming increasingly important for modern buyers, the CarLinko app adds another layer of practicality to Chery’s growing hybrid lineup. Instead of treating connectivity as an extra luxury feature, Chery is positioning smartphone integration as a standard part of the ownership experience for its new-generation CSH vehicles.
