The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ has announced on its official website about a temporary closure at the Industrial Area Roundabout 1 in Al Khor. The closure starts on Saturday 12 Jan 2019 and it will last for one month.

This closure is in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic where one lane will be closed while the other lane will be kept open in all directions of the roundabout. The closure aims at enabling the works of laying TSE pipe as part of design, build, operation and maintenance of Al Dhakhira Sewage Treatment Works, Transfer Pumping Station and Associated Pipelines.
On this regard, Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the closure and the alternative roads to use during the closure. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit (50 km/hour), and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
