Sensors are considered one of the most important parts of the car that the operation of the car depends on it. There are a lot of these sensors in all cars, and however they are very important in the operation system of the car, many people do not know sensors or their location in the car.
What are car sensors?
1- Oxygen sensor
The oxygen sensor is located in the car inside the exhaust pipe. The oxygen sensor measures and monitors the oxygen content in the exhaust and then sends this information to the engine computer to determine the fuel ratio needed by the engine. If the oxygen sensor fails, it will increase the fuel consumption of the vehicle.

2- Engine speed sensor
The place of the motor speed sensor varies from car to car, they often placed in the spindle of car tires or gearbox. The speed sensor measures the magnetic field around the coil to monitor the speed and provide the car's computer information and thus provide the engine of the car to know the amount of fuel it needs.
3- Mass air flow sensor
The airflow sensor is located in the duct of air entering the engine. The air flow sensor function in the car is to control the amount of air inside the engine and provide the car with this information, which helps in determining the amount of fuel suitable for consumption.
4- Fuel temperature sensor
The fuel temperature sensor measures fuel temperature in the engine and transfers this information to the car's computer. If the fuel temperature is warm, the fuel will be reached in an easier way. On the contrary, in the case of cold fuel, if detected by the fuel temperature sensor, will turn on the engine check light because the access to fuel will be more difficult and therefore the possibility of interruption of fuel consumption.

5- Manifold absolute pressure sensor
The absolute pressure sensor facilitates the determination of the load of the engine. Although there are many sensors throughout the engine and the transmission system, the absolute pressure sensor is one of the most important sensors in driving. If there is any sensor fault, it is possible to light up the engine check signal in the vehicle, so you should know the correct cause of the engine check code light.
6- Crankshaft position sensor
The crankshaft sensor is located at the rear of the engine towards the gearbox. The crankshaft in the car calculates the number of crankshaft rolls with the gear on it.
You should know that if one of the sensors in the car broke up, the check engine sign will light up in the car. So you need to know where the problem in specific to know the source of the problem and how to solve it. Check engine mark is one of the most confusing symbols for car owners, because it lights up for too many reasons.
