Car owners and vehicles get very annoyed from car scratches, so they pay a lot of efforts to keep their cars away from scratches, especially if new. Despite all the means to protect the car from scratches, cars do get some scratches.
There are many reasons for scratches, some of them are intended by some people and some are caused accidentally because of a collision of the car with the wall or other cars. In addition, it may be the result of the negligence of the car and not cleaning or polishing it constantly, which increases the size of small scratches and spreads to larger areas so car owners then have to pay a lot of money to get rid of these scratches.
These minor scratches are rarely noticed and are spread on little spaces. They are caused by dust, small stones or corrosion of the paint layer due to weather conditions and these minor scratches can become large scratches if they are neglected.
The cause of this type of medium scratches is the collision of the car in one of the strong surfaces causing a medium-sized scratch that occupies a rather large space and distort the shape of the car.
Large scratches are on larger and deeper surfaces where the entire paint layer is removed and the disposal process is somewhat expensive.

After looking at the causes and types of scratches, what do you think are the methods you can use for greater effectiveness?
1. Always polish your car and most importantly use a layer of wax from time to time to protect the car from all external factors because wax acts as an outer layer between paint and external factors of dust, dirt and surfaces that may scratch paint.
2. Always cover the car as not to be subjected to any contact of passersby or other cars.
3. When washing and cleaning the car, keep away from using coarse fiber fabrics as they work on scratching paint and minor scratches which may stretch to become medium.
4. Do not always drive in congested roads because you will be hit by cars and scratch your car in one way or another, and avoid to stop your car in densely populated areas because they will deliberately or unintentionally scratch it.
5. Wash your car regularly and do not keep any dirt or dust on it as it scratches the car.
6. Find a special garage for your car and do not always stop it under the sun, rain and snow and keep it in a well ventilated place away from external weather factors and people.
