The most beautiful thing for car passengers is to look at the landscapes, especially during long journeys since seeing these scenes would bring pleasure to the heart of man.
Have you ever thought about blind passengers and their feeling inside the vehicles without being able to see the scenery through the window?
Being blind prevents the person from forming the mental image of things around him. Because the world is constantly developing new techniques that enter the world of cars, Ford has found a new and unique technology to help the blind passengers to visualize the scenes during travelling.

Ford has launched a technology called Feel The View, which works through the smart windows that capture the scene and then transformed it into vibrations felt by the blind on windows.
The idea of the technology was the result of a brainstorming session conducted by the Italian company Ford with local startups. GTB Roma and Aedo Project, a start-up focused on making devices for the visually impaired, developed the prototype.

The tech is based on a built-in camera added to the smart windows that after pushing of a button it photographs the outside view. The photo then is turned into a greyscale image that transformed into vibrations which blind passengers can feel to read and visualize the view. There are 255 levels of vibration.
Furthermore, a voice system comes along with the smart windows that this voice assistant gives more information about the view through the car's audio system.
