Qatar’s Met Department has warned people that there are chances of strong winds and slight to blowing dust in the country today.
The country had witnessed heavy winds and a dust storm yesterday and caused serious damage. This was shown in a video taken in the Aspire Park showing a tree being uprooted and hitting parked cars nearby.
The Met department has also issued a marine warning for poor visibility in some places, strong winds and high seas today. Dusty conditions are also expected later.
The wind speed may go up to 23 knots inshore and 30 knots offshore, with the sea level rising to 10ft at times. The temperature in Doha will range from 22C to 30C on Sunday.
