The top 10 car brands in 2017 ..

 

Focus2move, the automotive market research organization, published a list of the best-selling car brands in the first nine months of 2017 worldwide.

 

Toyota Motors received the lion's share and topped the list of the 10 best-selling car brands with sales estimated at 6.5 million vehicles, up 3.9% from the same period in 2016.

 

 

The German Volkswagen came second with 4.8 million cars, followed by Ford with sales of 4.5 million cars, which were relatively affected by the drop in sales in the Chinese market.

 

Similarly, Korean brands suffered from the drop in sales in the Chinese market, which represents nearly 30% of global sales.

 

The focus2move reported also that the Renault brand, which ranked ninth on the top 10 list, is the most growing car brand in terms of sales, with a sales volume of 1.95 million cars.
