A recent study by Hyundai Motor Co. in the United Kingdom has revealed that women are more angry than men while driving. Which means that upon the occurrence of any fault from others, the woman is likely to be more tensed and angry than the man.
The study was based on the 1,000 drivers, all from the UK, and showed that women were on average 12% more angry than men.
Hyundai said in its report: "The study proved the existence of two feelings that dominate the driver while driving: Happiness, which is closely linked with a sense of freedom in dealing with roads, and anger which appears during the loss of control.”
The study was conducted by Dr. Patrick Fagan, a scientist at Goldsmiths College in London, and he tested the sense of hearing, sight, smell, touch, taste, emotional reactions in different scenarios for more than 1,000 participants. Fagan said that 54% of Britons feel happy by singing while driving.
When the researchers looked at the causes of happiness on the road, they found that 84% of people have become happier when driving in empty roads (sure this reason of happiness is not valid in Qatar!), 78% are happier when driving in the country side, and 69% are happier when deriving at the seashore.
