An 11 year old spends 22 million on Number plates auctions

 

An auction organised by the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police, in partner with “UAE Auctions", was held for special number plates last Saturday evening for those who wish to buy special car number plates. The event was held at Emirates Palace Hotel, one of UAE landmarks.

 

The star of the evening was an 11 year old boy named Abdullah. He was the youngest participant ever participated in Auctions for number plate. He was the star not only because he was the youngest, but because he spent 22 million Dirhams ($6 million) on 3 number plates in the auction.

 

The first number plate was (11) which was bought for $ 6.1 million, and number plate (7) which was bought for 13.4 million, as well as the number plate (11111) which was bought for 1.8 million.

 

Abdullah said he was keen to buy the number plate (7) specifically because it symbolises the seven emirates.
