F-Ring Road to see partial closures starting 4th January

If you are using the F-Ring (The sixth ring road), you need to be cautioned that there will be a partial closure starting on Monday 4th January which will cause delays for commuters. The closure is caused by some work which will take place from Qatar Rail. The stretch of the road around Air Force Interchange will close in two phases for just over a week in total to enable works on the nearby Red Line Doha Metroproject.

 

 

The main route, which goes from the junction under Al Mater Street (or as called Al Wakrah Road up) to the intersection with Najma Street, will be closed in both directions for five days from Jan 4. until Jan. 8, although service lanes will remain open during this time.
