Partial Closure on Sheikh Saud bin Abdelrahman Road for 2 Months

The Public Works Authority of Qatar (Ashghal), in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, has announced a partial closure in both directions on Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman road. The closure starts from the intersection with Al Mashaf Road and its intersection with Barwa-Al Mashaf Road.The closure will last for two months starting from Saturday 13 October 2018.

During the closure, drivers who want to get to and from the Barwa-Mashaf road and to access schools near the closed road should use the newly-constructed road that was built parallel to the closed part of Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman road.

The closure aims to complete the construction works of Package 4for the development of roads and infrastructure west of Mashaf, including the development signal-controlled intersections, provision of street lighting, and landscaping works.

The Public Works Authority will install road signs to alert drivers of this closure and which alternative roads to use during the closure, stressing that road users must adhere to the specified speed limits and follow the road signs in order to ensure their safety.
