Tesla has had an unexpected new competitor, Kalashnikov, the arms manufacturer, after Kalashnikov announced the design of its new CV-1 at an exhibition displaying defense expo in Russia on Thursday 23/8/2018.
A representative of Kalashnikov said that this new car will make them stand side by side and compete with electric car makers such as Tesla. According to Kalashnikov, the CV-1 can travel 350 kilometers in one battery only it will need to be recharged. In addition, the car can accelerate from stability to 100 km in just 6 seconds.

The Design of the Russian arms manufacturer Kalashnikov electric car, (CV-1):
The car is inspired by the Soviet Hatchback developed in the 1970's, "Izh-Kombi". The color of the car is light blue, with large grids and handles on the front.
It is worth mentioning that Kalashnikov is no longer only dependent on weapons manufacturing, but it has expanded its production to produce electric cars and opened a production line for clothes, umbrellas and mobile covers.
