Alfa Romeo, the Italian carmaker, announced its new supercar in last June from this year 2018 and it is predicted to be a strong competitor of Ferrari and Porsche. These news were revealed during Fiat Chrysler’s five-year plan presentation to Italian investors.

It is mentioning that Alfa Romeo will provide 7 models by 2020 and the 8C coupe is one of the most distinguished between them. It has been named after the 8C Competizione which produced from 2207 to 2012. You will notice, in the video, that the 8C coupe is much more than a sport car.

What are the specifications of the Alfa Romeo 8C coupe?

The Alfa Romeo 8C coupe's monocoque will be built by a carbon fiber as the 4C and Spider. In addition, the Alfa Romeo 8C coupe has two engines: an electrified front engine and a midship twin-turbo one.

The two engines along with an all-wheel-drive electric drive system, the Alfa Romeo 8C coupe will produces more than 700 hp and it can accelerate from scratch to 100 km / h 3 seconds. The company has not announced the top speed of it yet.

The Alfa Romeo 8C coupe with other Alfa cars will be ready to offer level 2 and 3 autonomy. To shed more light, level 2 autonomy offers partial automation, like steering, braking, and accelerating while level 3 offers more sutomation.
