Genesis Ranked Highest Brand for IQS by JD Power

 

Genesis ranked highest among all automotive brands in the J D Power 2018 US Initial Quality Study (IQS) released in 2/7/2018. Last year, Genesis ranked top among premium brands and second in its inaugural appearance in the study, so its rank this year is an additional accomplish. 2018 IQSwas among 31 ranked brands including 13 premium brands.

It is worth mentioning that IQS for this year is in its 32^nd year and this study is the universal new-vehicle quality measurement. The 2018 IQS is based on 75,712 responses from purchasers and lessees to 233 questions.

 

The study is based on a 233-question battery organized into eight vehicle categories designed to provide manufacturers with information to facilitate the identification of problems and drive product improvement.
