In the first video, we will show you, Volvo truck, the Iron Knight, in its attempt to achieve a new record for the fastest truck in the world. The previous record was in 2012 with a hybrid truck called Mean Green.

The Iron Knight's engine is one of the most important features of the Iron Knight. The engine is a 13 liter diesel engine that generates 2400 hp and 6000 nm of torque. Iron Knight can launch from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in only 4.6 seconds!

Volvo had already proven the power of its engines in former speed records. Its aim this time is to prove the speed and strength of its new I-Shift Dual Clutch transmission.

What are the features of Iron Knight that do not exist in Mean Green:

There are certainly new improvements and techniques in Iron Knight that do not exist in the Mean Green truck and that the Iron Knight truck is lighter than its predecessor at 1,000 kilos and 600  hp faster than Mean Green.
