The General Directorate of Traffic continues its awareness-raising role to maintain traffic by regularly sharing the locations of mobile radars and the must-adhere speeds through its official pages on social Media.
In a tweet today on its official twitter, The General Directorate announced the whereabouts of 5 mobile radars stressing the need to adhere the specified speeds on the roads to avoid traffic accidents.
1. Al Shamal (120km/hr)
2. Dukhan Shahaniya (120km/hr)
3. Salwa (120km/hr)
4. Al Dafna (80 km/hr)
5. University street (80 km/hr)
This awareness-raising role is to ensure road safety and make drivers abide to speed limits in each road. The role of these mobile radars is to record and monitor seat belt violations, over speeding, overtaking from wrong side, and using phones during driving.
