As above-mentioned, there are some procedures that you must do before going on such trips, including:

1.      Make a list of basic requirements:

All of us spend a lot of time planning and preparing for trips via preparing lists of supplies of food, drink and others. But preparation for the desert or mountain driving requires additional supplies such as a first-aid kit, battery-powered electric lights, a long rope to pull the car, enough food for the trip, a siren, sunglasses, enough water to drink and wash the car and insecticide.

2.      Check the car:

Make sure that the car is working properly and check the level of all fluids in the car such as oil and water, the status of the wheels and of course do not forget to refuel your car. Remember to not travel alone.

4.      Carefully choose where to stop:

Do not choose a place to stop where you can not move from it, for example, when you rise to a summit, do not stop at the top exactly. Yet pass the top and make your car in a position you can get off it easily.
