Qatar: Salwa Road's Maximum Speed Limits Gets a Boost

 

Qatar has many highways where the drivers wish to exceed the maximum speed limit which is 120 km./h.  Salwa Road is one of these highways; So what's is the latest news on Salwa Road?

 

There is no excuse for drivers not to abide for maximum speed limits allowed on the highways since there are signboards at the roads giving them the maximum speed, said Major Jaber Mohamed Rashid Odaiba, Assistant Director Of Media & Traffic Awareness At The General Directorate Of Traffic. He also pointed out that the maximum speed on Salwa Road is 120 km/h after The Industrial Area Intersection and another 10 km. have been added to this road because of its length, so it becomes 140 km./ h. Drivers MUST not violate the maximum speed limit and abide to the allowed speed since there are mobile radars and patrols along the roads.
