Red Bull Brings Back Car Park Drift

Doha, February 18^th - Red Bull Car Park Drift is back for another gratifying weekend in Qatar on the 23^rd of February 2018. The high-profile motorsports event is held under the support and supervision of Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation, and in partnership with Vodafone Qatar, Losail Circuit Sports Club, TOTAL, and Falken Tires. The annual drift showdown will be held at the Losail Circuit Sports Club at 7:00 pm and is expected to attract dozens of contestants as well as thousands of motorsports fans.

 

Contestants will be expected to display their proficiency behind the steering wheel as they take on a challenging new course inspired by the masterful Red Bull Athlete; Abdo Feghali, who will be supervising and performing at the event.

 

 

“We’re going to be setting up at the Losail Circuit Sports Club, which means we have even more space for the drifters to comfortably demonstrate all their skills, techniques and control. I’m looking forward to crowning Qatar’s next King of Drift that will qualify for the grand finale in Lebanon.”, said Drift Champion Abdo Feghali.

 

The contestants are judged based on their skills, precision and creativity as they aim to attain the highest scores. The higher the score, the closer they become to being crowned Qatar’s 2018 King of Drift. 

 

 

The Red Bull Car Park Drift Series has become critically acclaimed by thousands of fans and motorsport enthusiasts in Qatar. This comes with a high standard of safety and security that guarantees an entertaining environment for both the participants as well as the audience.
