The Ministry of Transport and Communications in Qatar (MoTC) has formally launched a national integrated public transport marketing and way-finding programme which will enable people using the public transportation to better understand and access Qatar's upcoming multi-modal transit system.
The purpose of the campaign is to promote Qatar's public transportation system, its convenience, and its benefits as well as increase the awareness and perception of public transport in the country and contribute to the achievement of Qatar National Vision 2030.
HE the Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim Seif Ahmed al-Sulaiti has given directives on the importance of completing the current study on the programme during 2018, that will unify and raise the image of public transport.
The campaign will include raising awareness about a number of important developments in Qatar's public transportation infrastructure, including the rail, ferry, taxi and bus services.
