The cost of petrol in Qatar will rise by 5 Dirhams a liter starting from March 1st, the Ministry of Energy and Industry has announced in their website and Twitter page.
March prices for 91-octane premium petrol will cost QR1.60/liter, Meanwhile, Super 95-octane gasoline will cost QR1.70/liter. And Diesel price will also rise to reach QR1.55/liter.
The cost of petrol in Qatar has been rising in the last 8 months. Not very long ago, the cost of the Super 95-octane gasoline was QR1.00 per liter. Hence, there is a 70% increase in petrol prices compared to early days of the last year.
