The cost of petrol in Qatar will rise by ten Dirhams a liter starting from February 1st, the Ministry of Energy and Industry has announced.
February prices for 91-octane premium petrol will cost QR1.55/liter, Meanwhile, Super 95-octane gasoline will cost QR1.65/liter. And Diesel price will also rise to reach QR1.50/liter.
The cost of petrol in Qatar has been rising in the last 8 months. Not very long ago, the cost of the Super 95-octane gasoline was QR1.00 per liter. Hence, there is a 65% increase in petrol prices compared early days of the last year.
