WOQOD Vehicles Inspection “FAHES” is the only licensed organisation to conduct vehicle inspection in Qatar, including light vehicles, heavy vehicles and heavy equipments.

FAHES offers an inspection of vehicles in conformity with the approved standards of road traffic safety and pollution control.

How to Preparing Your Vehicle for FAHES test

Motorists who follow this guide are expected to have 70% fewer failures. To avoid failures in the inspection, motorists need to prepare their vehicle prior to the inspection.

It is recommend that you only use an experienced professional with the appropriate skills to carry out any preparation or repairs to your vehicle.

What to bring to the Inspection

Your vehicle.
Registration card/appropriate documents (Istimara)
Appropriate fee, only card payments accepted.

Note: If the vehicle has an under test plate the person who has received the number plate under his name or under his sponsorship can register the vehicle for inspection with the valid under test license plate issued receipt.

Tick These Boxes Before Inspection

Remove all valuable items and insecure loads from the vehicle.
Clean off excessive dirt, dont go to inspection with dirty vehicle.
Accelerators must be in a safe working condition to pass the inspection
Make sure you have a permission for any additions or modifications to the vehicle
Amber Beacon Warning lights must be working for all Trucks & Trailers over 7,000kg GVW.
Batteries must be safe and securely mounted to pass the inspection.
Excessive damage to bodywork can fail in inspection.
All brakes must be safe and meet the minimum legal efficiency requirements.
Excessive damage to chassis parts can fail the inspection.
Doors must be in a safe working condition to pass the inspection
Door handles must be functioning, complete and in good working condition to pass the inspection
Drive shafts must be in a safe working condition to pass the inspection
Electrical wires must be safe, mounted and insulated to pass the inspection
Exhaust emissions must meet the minimum legal requirement
Fire extinguishers must be suitable, accessible, mounted and in good safe condition to pass the inspection.
Fuel caps must be safe, sealed and secure to pass the inspection
Fuel systems must be safe with no leaks or improper repairs to pass the inspection
Headlights must be in safe working condition and not 'dazzle' on coming road users on dip beam
Hoods must be safe, they should open and close securely to pass the inspection
Horns must be in good working condition to pass the inspection
Number plate must be readable, complete and in good condition to pass the legal inspection
Mirrors must be effective and in a good safe working condition to pass the inspection
No oil leaks that drip excessively are allowed to pass the inspection
Excessive damaged to paintwork can fail the inspection (changes of paint colour require TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT approval before painting)
All front seat belts must be accessible and in a good safe working condition to pass the inspection
Spare Tires are not required or checked for condition but these must be securely mounted where fitted
Suspension must be in a good safe working condition without excessive damage to pass the inspection (modifications may require TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT approval before fitting)
Any additional tinting will require TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT approval before fitting
Tires must all be safe, correct size, construction type without excessive wear or damage to pass the inspection
Transmissions must be safe, working and not dripping oil to pass the inspection
Front wipers must clear the water effectively to pass the inspection
