Welcome Salman in Tamim’s Doha

 

We, at QMotor,  draw your attention that there will possibly be some traffic delays, especially in the Dafna and Corniche areas, in order to facilitate a safe movement of the King and the Amir.

 

His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani was the first to welcome King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, who arrived to Qatar this afternoon, in his first official visits.

 

The leaders of both countries will discuss means of enhancing co-operation as well as discuss the latest developments around this region and the world.

 

This visit, which was described by a number of Qatari newspapers as "historical" has a lot of interests from many people and governmental bodies. This is because the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a special relationship with Qatari leadership, government and people. Hence, you will see in Doha during the next couple of days some celebrations in many of the main roads such as Airport road and the Corniche road and others.

 

Doha has prepared well for this great visit; the streets were decorated with flags of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, as well as many buildings were adorned with pictures of His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, and King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

 

And so we, at QMotor, call upon the citizens and residents in Doha to take more caution on the roads and to expect that there will possible be some waiting at the main intersections, especially in the Dafna and Corniche areas to facilitate a safe movement for the Amir and his guest. Those who are planning to travel via the Doha Corniche should be aware that the area might see some road closures.
