Tips to maintain your car tires

1. Adjust the air pressure of the car tires as specified in the car user manual, not as told by your friend.

 

2. Adjust the air pressure in the tires when they are cool, as the hot tires give an inaccurate pressure reading.

 

3. Adjust the air pressure in the tires once a week and make sure you close the tire valve with the plastic cover to insure no air leaking.

 

4. Don't make the air pressure too high, arguing that the pressure would decrease after few days. High pressure leads to decreasing the life time of the tire as well as increasing the bad effect of road bumps.

 

5. Make sure to balance the car tires. Not properly balancing the car tires leads to rapid damage of the tires.

 

6. Don't measure the tire life time from the day you purchase the tire but from the day the tire was made. This date must be available as all original tires.
