filming or photographing accidents in Qatar could lead to jail

HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister of Qatar, held a session on Wednesday, September 21, at the Emiri Diwan. And the Board considered some of the topics that included:

 

Approving a draft law amending some provisions of the Penal Code promulgated by Law No. (11) for the year 2004 and to transmit it to the Shura Council. The amendment includes punish anyone took photos or transfer photos or videos of the injured or died people in an accident, by any kind of smart phone devices or cameras unless authorised to do so legally.

 

Al Raya Newspaper reported that amendments include punishment for those taking pictures, filming videos, sharing on social media, or transferring to other people of any injured or died people in accidents in Qatar.

 

Q Motor followers, please make sure you follow the new legislations to avoid any punishment that can reach to jail and 5,000 penalty.
