QMotor - The German car maker BMW is developing a face-lift version of its X7, which will be launched as a 2022 model, as spy lenses took pictures of it during its testing at the Nürburgring.
The car appears in black and white camouflage on the front and rear facades, and the company is testing the updated SUV's vital components on the track, where it will receive prominent upgrades that include new headlights at a lower level than the current one, and an updated front grille.
The tweaks to the rear end look less, as it will likely be limited to new LED taillight graphics and an updated bumper, while spy photos haven't revealed the cabin, but we don't expect to see much upgrades except for a few updates to the infotainment system.
The engines are not expected to change in the new face-lift, as the xDrive40i version is available with a 3.0-liter V6 with 335 hp and the M50i version with a 4.4-liter V8 engine with 523 hp. Alpine will also launch its updated version of the XB7 when the regular X7 launches.
Here is a set of photos taken by the spy lenses.
