BMW and Mercedes-Benz have had a raucous 100-year-old rivalry that disproves the old rumor that the Germans have no sense of humor.
BMW and Mercedes exchanged some sarcastic pranks on Twitter in Halloween day. BMW started by posting a tweet addressed to Mercedes-Benz with a picture of an E53 dressed in a BMW M5, with a comment: “Now every car can dress up as its favorite superhero! ”.

Mercedes replied: "Excellent, this outfit looks really scary! .. especially this front grille."
BMW also wished a Happy Halloween for Mercedes-Benz, and Mercedes immediately responded with a tweet: "Excellent, this outfit looks really scary! .. especially this front grille."
Of course this is a reference to the giant size of the front grille of BMW, which drew particular attention with the unveiling of the new X7 and the 7 Seies.
Many have mocked the size of BMW's large grille. As you can see, the front grille is about the same length as the entire front and has been criticized by some BMW fans and others, and it seems that Mercedes-Benz does not like it at all.
