Activating new cameras at intersections

The Ministry of Interior in Qatar has recently activated cameras at intersection to capture traffic violation in Qatar.

 

The announcement was taken from the Facebook page of the Ministry of Interior in Qatar, where the article states that the MOI has activated the camera and penalty system which will capture violations such as under taking and stopping at the yellow box at intersections.

 

With this new activation, there will be no need for police officers to be present at intersections. The cameras which where design especially for the purpose of capturing violations will do the job.

 

Therefore, we encourage all drivers to drive safe and follow traffic rules to avoid falling into such penalties.
