Watch: Toro Rosso Officially Unveil the New STR14

 

Toro Rosso team has revealed the new STR14 car to prepare for participating in 2019 F1 championship through a video in Toro Rosso channel on YouTube. The STR14, preparing for a second season with Honda power. STR14 has featured a similar design as last year design.

 

 

Toro Rosso finished ninth in the constructors' championship last season with 33 points, despite suffering from several problems in the final fourth quarter of the season.

 

Toro Rosso will be in the competition with two new drivers: Russian driver Daniel Cavite and British-born Thai driver Alexander Albon to compete for the 2019 season with new laws.

Franz Tost, Toro Rosso team principal, said: "The aim is to always improve in order to compete at the highest possible level and this winter we have worked intensively to bring a few organizational changes, which we hope will help smooth a few issues we experienced in the past." He also said: "We have analyzed all the internal procedures in order to optimize our strengths and minimize our weaknesses."

 

In addition to that, he added: "Compared to other teams, Toro Rosso count on a smaller number of people, but the synergies with Red Bull Technology for the non-listed parts, now that Red Bull will also be equipped with the Honda engine, will leave more time for our technical working groups to focus more on the details that makes difference and this will be translated to more performance."
