Striking Exterior Redesign
The 2026 Mercedes-Benz S-Class presents its most comprehensive refresh yet, with over half its components reengineered, a front grille now approximately 20 percent larger with integrated chrome three-pointed stars and, for the first time on the S-Class, an optional illuminated hood star, creating a distinctive night-time signature.
New twin-star Digital Light micro-LED headlights dramatically increase illumination range up to around 600 metres and adapt automatically to road and traffic conditions, while rear lights adopt triple-star LED motifs matching the brand’s visual identity.
Wheel designs are refreshed with intricate 20-inch high-pressure-cast alloys and the option of elegant multi-spoke finishes, completing a bolder stance without altering the car’s core proportions.

Revolutionary Digital Cockpit
Inside, the familiar wood-trimmed dashboard gives way to the MBUX Superscreen layout: three high-resolution displays consisting of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.4-inch central touchscreen and a 12.3-inch front passenger screen beneath a continuous glass surface, delivering a tech-forward, immersive environment.
The latest Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) acts as a central computing hub (“supercomputer on wheels”), integrating generative AI assistants from Google and Microsoft for advanced voice interaction, natural dialogue and adaptive system control, and supports over-the-air updates.
Physical rocker switches and tactile controls have been reintroduced on the steering wheel and console following feedback, balancing digital and ergonomic usability.

Cabin Experience & Connectivity
Rear occupants benefit from 13.1-inch entertainment screens with integrated cameras for videoconferencing and streaming directly through the infotainment system, controlled via detachable remotes, elevating comfort and productivity on the move.
The cabin also features an advanced air purification system that ionises fine particles and renews air rapidly, while materials and trim choices blend luxury with contemporary detailing.

Lighting & Projection Features
Digital Light technology now includes new adaptive projection functions that display symbols for cold-weather warnings or guide lighting for narrow lanes, augmenting safety and visual feedback.
Safety & Assistance Tech
The S-Class expands its sensor suite with cameras, radar and ultrasonic sensors under MB.OS, enabling advanced driver-assistance and adaptive systems designed to react dynamically to driving conditions and assist in complex manoeuvres.
Powertrain Enhancements
The refreshed S-Class retains a diverse lineup of petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid models, all incorporating mild-hybrid systems for enhanced efficiency and performance, with the flagship V8 receiving updates for improved output and responsiveness.
