Car buyers in Qatar have a fresh opportunity to snag a deal as the Ministry of Interior (MOI) kicks off its latest public auction of impounded vehicles. The auction, organized by the Public Auction Committee, begins today at the Industrial Zone Traffic Reservation Area, 52nd Street, and will run for a two-week period from 3:15pm until 6:30pm.
The event features a wide range of vehicles that have been reserved by authorities and are now being released for sale to the public. These auctions are often sought after by bargain hunters, dealers, and collectors, offering cars at competitive prices compared to the market.
The ministry has also set clear participation guidelines. Bidders must comply with registration requirements on-site, and successful buyers are responsible for completing transfer procedures immediately after purchase.
This two-week sale not only provides affordable car ownership opportunities but also helps clear space in impound facilities, aligning with the government’s policy to manage seized vehicles efficiently.
With the auction opening today, Doha’s car enthusiasts and dealers will be keeping a close watch on what vehicles hit the block — and at what prices.
