Allow more time if you plan to use the long-term parking at HIA

If you are planning a trip within the next 18 months from Hamad International Airport (HIA) and you wish to use the long-term parking, you need to allow more time in your trip as major traffic diversion will take place starting from today May 22 of 2016 to June 30 of 2018.

The Announce was by Qatar Rail. The closure is part of Doha Metro works, and means motorists will need to take a long circuitous route around the airport to get to the long-term parking once they enter the airport area. It is worth mentioning that the long-term parking at HIA is QR2 per hour, and QR45 per every 24 hours.
