A number of videos and photos has spread on social media networks last week showing a drifting accident in Saudi Arabia that killed Ahmed Shtiwi Rwaili, who is know as “Kanaq Anndheem”. Ahmad was one of the most famous road drifters in Saudi. The accident happened on Friday morning as the car veered off to hit the fence on the road which resulted in his death.
Ahmed used to live in Nadheem neighbourhood in Riyadh, and has not yet reached the age of 25-year-old. He was famous in drifting in cars such as the Sonata, Accord, and Camry. And he used to practice his hobby in public roads between Riyadh and Qassim.
Ahmad’s case was know to many people in 2014 when he was sentenced for 10 years in prison after he caused an accident during illegal drifting and his friend died in the accident. He was, though, freed after 2 years which enabled him to get out of prison 8 years before his sentence finishes.
We, at Q Motor, request from all our followers to practice the hobby of drifting only in the places specialised for this type of hobbies and under the supervision of experts and under all means of safety.
