Mercedes is working to develop the new off-road suspension which will be added on the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE450. This new suspension system will make the car be able to raise and lower individual wheels in order to achieve the best traction and control over the vehicle on off-roads. In addition, the system can raise the car and keep it on the wanted height.

The new off-road suspension aims to help drivers to free themselves from sand pit. The company has not mentioned if the system works also on snow, but it has to.
