Dokhan Express Way is now open

Many commuters have waited very long time for the Dokhan Road to open, now Ashghal in Qatar announced a major part of the road open in both ways for commuters.

The 3.3 km long phase of the road that newly opened to traffic is located between the Temporary Truck Route and Al Wajbah Interchange

The opening of the road will make the traffic flow much efficient and safe. The newly opened 3.3km road is located between the Temporary Truck Route and Al Wajbah Interchange.

The full project of the Dokhan Express Way includes connections to local residential areas and business properties, as well as Al Rayyan Stadium which will host 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Ashghal advised the user of the newly opened road not to exceed the temporary speed limit of 80 km/h, given that construction works are still in progress on other sections of the Dukhan Express Way and the nearby New Orbital Highway and Truck Route. Ashghal has also mentioned that three flyovers and the road that connects Celebration Road to the Dukhan Highway are completed earlier this year, as part of Dukhan Express Way Central project.
