Privacy Policy

 

Please read these privacy and policy  carefully as they govern the provision of a digital advertising package by us to you. We may modify these Conditions from time to time and you should therefore ensure that you review these Conditions regularly.

 

In these Conditions, "we", "us" or "our" means Q Motor Trader. When we refer to “Q Motor" this includes the website located at www.QMotor.com, and all other Q Motor platforms including mobile and tablet and the Q Motor Apps owned and operated by us.

 

1. OUR CONTRACT WITH YOU

 

1.1.  These Conditions apply to any advert for the sale of a vehicle, a motorbike, or a number-plate that is placed on Q Motor by a private advertiser.

 

1.2.    By placing an advert with us, you are deemed to have accepted these Conditions.

 

1.3.     Each time we accept a request from you to place an advert on Q Motor a separate severable contract is formed between you and us and this contract is subject to these Conditions.

 

2. PLACING AN ADVERT

 

2.1.     When you place an advert on Q Motor, you will be given a username and password which you are responsible for keeping secure. Q Motor will not be liable to you if you fail to keep your username and password safe.

 

2.2.    If we accept your advert, whilst we cannot give any guarantees regarding timescale, we aim to process and publish adverts supplied online within 24 hours of receipt.

 

2.3.     Adverts placed will appear on all Q Motor platforms, including desktop, mobile and tablet. They will appear on our social media platforms only if the Silver or Gold package are selected.

 

2.4.     As soon as your advert has been accepted for publication, a confirmation SMS will be sent to you explaining that the advert is live on Q Motor. In the event that an advert has been rejected for publication, you will incur no charge.

 

3. ADVERT CONTENT GUIDELINES

 

3.1.     Each advert may only feature one vehicle. If you have more than one vehicle to sell, you will need to place a separate advert for each vehicle.

 

3.2.    We are only able to display one advert for each vehicle at any one time.

 

3.3.     We may accept photographs of vehicles for use in adverts. However, we reserve the right in our sole discretion not to include a photograph in an advert.

 

3.4.     You are solely responsible for uploading any photographs which form part of your advert unless agreed otherwise with us. We shall have no responsibility for the quality of any photographs you upload or provide to us, unless the photographs are taken by us.

 

3.5.     If you need to amend your advert, you can use the online edit functionality featured on Q Motor.

 

3.6.      Photographs which form part of the adverts may be checked by us to ensure that the content meets the following requirements:-

 

-   Photographs submitted for inclusion in the advert must not contain: nudity, profanity, pornography, drug use, violence, attacks on individuals or groups, obscene material, copyrighted material, material that could be considered dangerous

 

-   Photographs submitted for inclusion in the advert must not contain logo or watermark for any other company

 

-   Photographs submitted for inclusion in the advert must not contain individuals that can be personally identified.

 

-   Photographs should only show one vehicle.

 

4. OUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS

 

4.1.     We shall provide the advertising service with reasonable care and skill in a professional and timely manner. However, you acknowledge and accept that it is technically impossible to guarantee that Q Motor will be continuously available online or to guarantee the corruption free or error free transfer of an advert to Q Motor.

 

b.    Sometimes, we will need to carry out maintenance on our systems, and we shall use our reasonable endeavours to ensure that minimum disruption to any adverts is caused.

 

4.2.     We do not monitor or control and shall not be responsible for the content of your advert which you agree is your sole responsibility. Accordingly, you shall be responsible for any losses, or expenses incurred by us caused by an untrue statement or inaccurate or unlawful content.

 

5. CHARGES AND PAYMENT

 

5.1.     The cost of placing an advert on Q Motor depends on the advertising package you select and all prices are quoted on Q Motor.

 

5.2.    We have the right to change our advertising rates at any time and for any reason but any revised rates shall not apply to any adverts placed with us before publication of the revised rates.

 

5.3.     All adverts must be pre-paid prior to publication.

 

5.4.     Payment for adverts is made either online through Q Motor or via our sales team on +974 44434034.

 

5.5.     Where payment is taken through Q Motor, we will refer you to a dedicated commerce provider who will take payment via a secure sever (SSL) connection to ensure the safety of your payment online. Payment can be made using Visa or MasterCard.

 

6. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

 

6.1.     By submitting your advert for publication, you acknowledge that your right to cancel the contract at no cost to you will be lost.

 

6.2.    An advert can be cancelled at any time by you, for example to avoid unwanted responses but no refunds will be given unless you cancel due to breach of the contract on our part.
