Qatar: New registration procedure for companies to start in October

 

In a post on its official accounts on social Media platforms, The General Directorate of Traffic has announced a change in the procedures of registering vehicles of companies and institutions from 1 October 2018.

 

Starting on October 1st, companies and institutions will be able to register their vehicles or renew their vehicle registration electronically online through Matrash 2 app or through the Ministry of Interior Electronic Services Portal.

The General Directorate of Traffic stated that the companies would not be able to register vehicles or renew registration through “Fahes”. Turki Thabet Al Kaabi, who works in the licensing department at the General Directorate of Traffic, said “ we are going to end all paper transactions and registration  and start doing it electronically.

 

"If the company has applied for a license or a car registration, and has fulfilled all the requirements, it can complete the procedures electronically without having to go to any of the traffic sections." All procedures can be done through Metrash 2 app"
