Temporary Closure of Al-Shura Intersection for 12 hours

 

Public Works Authority "Ashghal" and General Directorate of Traffic have announced on its official social media platforms a new temporary closure of Al-Shura Intersection from its four sides for just 12 hours. These 12 hours is divided into two periods: the first one is for 6 hours starting from the evening of Monday 13/8/2018 until the morning of Tuesday, 14/8/2018. The second period will extend for a further 6 hours starting from the evening of Tuesday 14/8/208 until the morning of Wednesday 15/8/2018.

During the closure, drivers heading to Al-Shura Intersection from its four sides can turn right only and use the next intersection.The reason lies behind this closure is completing the installation new traffic lights in Al-Shura Intersection, as part of the development works implemented on intersections and roundabouts in various areas of the Greater Doha, which aim to enhance the flow of traffic and reduce congestion in vital areas
