Qatar Motor Show 2017 Set to Showcase Automotive Innovation

Organisers promised a new show format with many new ideas, first time launches in the region, experiential activities, outdoor parades and much more to wow residents and car enthusiasts in Qatar!

Qatar Motor Show (QMS) organisers announced today at a press conference held at Shangri La Hotel in Doha that the show is returning once again this coming April under the theme ‘Driving to Innovation’.

QMS will be held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister of the State of Qatar, and the show is organised by Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) and Fira Qatar.

The 7th edition of QMS is scheduled to be held between 18th and 22nd of April at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).

Mr Ahmad Al Obaidly said in the conference that QMS will feature the latest automotive trends and innovations with a particular focus on creating exceptional visitor experiences. Offering brand manufacturers and retailers a platform to host the most exclusive regional reveals, the show is expected to host several 2017 model debuts from more than 20 exhibitors in the Middle East.

Bringing the theme ‘Driving to Innovation’ to life, automotive retailers will showcase their latest hybrid and tech-advanced vehicles that are paving the way of the future of the automotive industry.

Al Obaidly has also confirmed that QMS will be organised in Qatar once every two years starting from this year.
