The Viewer complained, then the R8 advert was banned

Because of one viewer who did not like that advert of the Audi R8, the advert was completely banned.

If you think that no one will consider your complains, you are 100% wrong. We are referencing this theory on a recent complaint which was against the German Company Audi for showing an advert which stimulates drivers to “irresponsible driving”. The complaint was made by an ordinary person who watched the advert, and simply did not like it.

Although the advert shows very limited driving, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has decided to ban it completely after the complaint. We watched the Ad, we could not see anything more than an eyeball contracting and dilating as the supercar accelerated through its gears. The ad briefly showed the R8 car, first in the tunnel and then on a race track.
