Toyota Land Cruiser 2022

QMotor - In a vote conducted by QMotor on its Instagram page @Q_Moto, the old Land Cruiser outperformed the all-new 2022 cruiser. 342 people who followed the page participated, 189 voted to the Old version compared to 153 voted for the new version.

A fre months ago, Toyota revealed the latest generation of its legendary Land Cruiser SUV based on an all-new platform, a new look and a twin-turbo V-6 engine. And here we remind you of the most important differences between the new and the old version.

The Engine:

The 5.7-liter V8 has been replaced by a newly developed 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, which produces 409 hp (305 kW) and 650 Nm of torque.

Despite having fewer cylinders, the turbo pair helps the V6 develop nearly 30 horsepower more than the V8, while torque rises dramatically by about 108 Nm, and the engine is also more economical than the previous version's engine.

Front Exterior

The LC300 gets a touch of modernity inside and out, with a new front that features a massive grille and headlamp design somewhat reminiscent of the GR Yaris hot hatch and Supra.

As soon as we look at the car, we will notice that the new generation has two front grilles, although one of these grilles is small in size extending from the bottom of the large grille to touch the headlights. This new shape gave the Land Cruiser 2022 a more powerful appearance than the front of the 2021 version, which comes with a large grille that divides the headlights into two parts.

Rear Exterior:

In the 2022 version, the LED lights became thinner than the lights in the 2021 version, with a thinner rear glass, which made the design appear smaller than the previous car, which made many followers prefer the old version.

The Interior:

The interior of the 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser was accompanied by clear and sophisticated changes, with the introduction of an infotainment system compatible with a 9-inch screen as standard and optionally with a 12.3-inch screen, working with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features.

Also distinguished are the possibility of wireless charging of the smartphone, a 360-degree camera, and a front screen on the windshield.

For its part, the Land Cruiser 2021 comes with a wireless charger for devices and an integrated navigation system with a 9-inch touch screen. Satellite radio is standard, along with a 14-speaker JBL audio system. In the options menu is a rear-seat entertainment system with a pair of wireless headphones and two 11.6-inch screens.

We thank everyone who participated in the voting and stay tuned for new coverages from QMotor.
